WELCOME TO OUR 2023-24 SEASON
POPS CONCERT SERIES
PBC’s concert season concludes in May with our Pops Series, “Skyward,” an energetic and exhilarating program of popular, contemporary, and familiar music. We are delighted to collaborate with the electrifying trio of Glen McDaniel, Nick Villalobos, and Zack Clark, together known as Simply Three. These Mesa-based artists have been captivating audiences worldwide with high-octane performances and viral music videos since 2010. Yet another highlight of the Pops Series will be the world premiere of Italian-American Raphael Fusco’s “It’s a Long Way,” the first-place entry in our 2023 New Works Rising Choral Composition Competition.

Our Classics concerts were a hit from start to finish. Special thanks to Dr. Julian Ackerley and the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus for a truly joyous collaboration, and to Polish composer Zuzanna Koziej for the opportunity to premiere “Foreign Lands.”
